I consider Pokémon SoulSilver as my first Pokémon game. Like of the main series. My parents never really got much Pokémon games until the DS era. We got many spinoffs.
It’s actually one of my favourites, though. I had my own Pokémon. My own Pokémon. It was like a family to me, because me and my 6 were always adventuring. Toto, my Quilava, always by my side. His timidness, shyness and gentleness always ever so bright. Marx, my Ampharos, with his quirkiness, he wasn’t going to be on my team, but he grew on me, and became the troll of the group. You never knew when he’ll let his strength shine, or just faint on you. Gary, my Gligar, always adorable and happy. He was also really strong.
Ziziri, my Crobat, always flying me around and being a general badass. She was there since she was a Zubat. They grow up so fast. Exio, my Togetic, from an egg to a major part of my team. He wasn’t too strong, but he made up for that in just being there all the time. Last, but not least, Tina my Quagsire, who looked oh-so derpy, yet was strong and brave. I have all these little personalities for them. They’re just fabulous. I love them.

It’s an old picture from 2010, but I drew them. I’m just so happy I got into the series. Before all I really cared about Pokémon was the show, and maybe Pokémon Colleseum and Pokémon Channel. But now that I’ve gotten into the main series I hope to continue to play and make more Pokémon friends.

While I’m at it, my Platinum Team. I had them on my R4, but traded them to my SoulSilver, because I almost lost them. It freezed a lot and would of corrupted and not saved my file. I hope to get the legit game one day. And have this team again.

Lastly, my White Team. My newest Pokémon family. I had some fun time with all these Pokémon, my extended family. I guess I’m just really happy that I got to share these experiences with my sisters and my friends. It was just swell. I know this was really long, and going on and on, but I’m guess I’m trying to say this:
“I love Pokémon. It made me who I am today.”
Ah, it makes me feel so nostalgic.
